It’s come to that time of year when people are buying Christmas presents left, right and centre. Amazon have now made life easier by introducing their click and collect from your local post office.
The retailing giant have struck a deal with Royal Mail just in time for Christmas, the busiest time of year for the postal service. The option to send your parcel to the Royal Mail Collect Scheme now adds over 10,500 participating locations to Amazon’s Pass My Parcel scheme, has made it a lot easier for the consumer this Christmas.
In total, you have a choice of around 16,000 pick-up locations to which you can send your order. It’s handy if an order is too big for your letterbox or can’t be delivered to your house, allowing you to pop in to a shop or post office on your lunch break or another time that suits you.
The Pass My Parcel Scheme also allows for same day delivery as long as items are ordered before 11:45am.
All you have to do to collect an item from your local store or post office is to select your preferred location from one of many of Amazon’s collection points, then go to your preferred store and present ID to collect your parcel.
So what are you waiting for? Get your Christmas shopping done now!
